Spring has sprung.

It's official, I've seen the first flip-flops of spring. Two young women with sporty capri-length leggings, tiny strappy flip-flops. Never mind that the wind is blowin' hard and the temp is 45 degrees. They were hurrying, scurrying, to get into Panera.

Piper's New Shoes

What are friends for, anyway, if not to mock you? (and by "you" I mean "me")

Friend Julie V. dressed young Piper in some new and stylin' shoes. Doesn't she look happy?

And yes, she (Julie) did it with me in mind. She (Piper) no doubt loathes me now. Sorry Piper.
